 | The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Vishnu Institute of Technology successfully organized a three day research hackthon Paperathon 2024 on March 26th to 28th 2024. The event saw participation from 42 research teams each accompanied by their respective faculty mentors creating a collaborative and intensive knowledge sharing platform. All teams wrote research papers and submitted them to various conferences and journals for publication | ||||||||||||

| 28th August 2024 | |||||||||||||
 | On 28th August 2024, ECE department, Vishnu Institute of Technology (A) conducted "Researchers Day" as an annual showcase of the Research and Development contributed by students. The undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty presented their research outcomes to their peers, faculty and external experts. A total of 8 student teams participated in Project expo 17 student teams participated in Pitch your idea and 20 teams participated in poster presentation. Dr. B. Narasimha Rao, Assistant Professor, NIT-Andhra Pradesh chief guest of the event delivered his thoughts on how these kind of events can help young researchers come together to work on different innovative technologies. He enlightened the audience on UAV systems and how DRONEs can be used during the time of calamities | ||||||||||||

 | The School of Computing organized a one day research event to showcase the research by faculty and students from the School of Computing. Researcher day event dedicated to fostering a culture of research and innovation among the students and the faculty. Participants showcase their projects present research findings and attend insightful sessions led by experts. The event provided a platform for collaboration idea exchange and skill development. Overall the event encouraged students to pursue research excellence and contribute to advancements in computing technology. This provides a good platform for students to present their innovative ideas in the field of advanced technology. The undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty presented their research outcomes to their peers, faculty and external experts. A total of 13 student teams participated in oral presentation and 14 teams participated in poster presentation. Dr Kiran Kumar addressed the gathering with his speech, he appreciated the efforts made by the faculty and students.
