The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of science and technology of electronics, telecommunication & IT.
IETE Student Forum (ISF) is a student body of IETE. IETE Student Forum was started in our college on 15th December 2014 in ECE department. IETE Student Forum provides students a common platform to exchange their ideas and information of their common interest.
ISF serve as a focal point at the institution on all aspects of professional development of the student members. ISF is providing the journals of IETE to all its members. ISF is providing the following publications regularly to the ISF student members in our college.
ISF is conducting technical programs and activities such as special lectures, workshops, seminars and exhibitions to develop knowledge in advanced technologies.
In addition ISF is also conducting programs like Teachers day, Engineer's day every year and also conducting the following events for the benefit of the student members.

Institution of Engineers India (IEI) student chapter was started in the year 2014 in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Chapter Code :534202/VITB/EE. The objective is to bridge the gap between Industry and Academics and to encourage the students towards extra-curricular activities apart from regular academics.
The student chapter is actively running since its inception under the rules and regulations governed by IEI headquarters, Kolkata.
Guest Lectures by Industry people, technical contests, industrial visits and celebrating the days of importance are the regular events in the student chapter.
Many of the student members from this chapter were selected for the meritorious Scholarship awards by IEI.

Department of EEE, Vishnu Institute of Technology have inaugurated the Student Club "Galvanism" on 19th December 2022 in the presence of Dr. D. Suryanarayana (Director and Principal). Dr. V. Sandeep (NIT Andhra Pradesh) and Dr. P. Sivakumar (Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering) honored the event as the representative of IEEE Vizag Bay Section. Followed by this, a seminar and FDP was organised for the students and faculty which was highly effective in the subject area (IEEE Membership Benefits). It has given an insight into the topic for the attendees. The information shared was very much useful for their academic, projects, higher studies, new technology awareness and research purpose. Speaker addressed the queries raised during the session. Approximately, 300 students and 30 faculty members were participated in this events.
