On 17th June 2023, ECE department, Vishnu Institute of Technology (A) conducted "Researchers Day" as an annual showcase of the Research and Development contributed by students. The undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty presented their research outcomes to their peers, faculty and external experts. A total of 13 student teams participated in oral presentation and 14 teams participated in poster presentation. Dr Kiran Kumar addressed the gathering with his speech, he appreciated the efforts made by the faculty and students. The event continued with presentations from faculty, students and the prize distributions to the winning student teams.

Title: Workshop-Docathon 3.0 (CSE)

Docathon 3.0, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Vishnu Institute of Technology, was held from 17th to 19th February 2025 in Lab 301 with the participation of 160 students forming 51 teams. The three-day event aimed to enhance students research and paper-writing skills and followed a structured schedule to guide them through each stage of academic writing. Day 1 focused on research initiation, including structure design, literature review, and introduction drafting, supported by sessions from faculty members Mr. S. Mahaboob Hussain and Dr. B. Sridevi. On Day 2, students worked on drafting results, conclusions, abstracts, and titles, along with hands-on training in citation management using Mendeley and guidance on selecting suitable publication venues. The final day emphasized final edits, documentation, and completion of submissions, concluding with students submitting their papers to their chosen journals or conferences. Docathon 3.0 was a highly engaging and productive academic initiative that strengthened students’ research capabilities and fostered a culture of scholarly writing. Title: Researchers Day EEE -2025 (COLLEGE)

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram, successfully organized Researcher’s Day EEE on 7 January 2025. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Vice Principal, Dean R&D, HoD-EEE, coordinators, and the Chief Guest Dr. T Ramesh from NIT Andhra Pradesh. Highlights included 13 idea presentations, a project expo with 14 projects, and a guest lecture on patent filing by Dr. R Khasim. With active participation from 80 students, prizes were awarded to the best ideas and projects during the valedictory, showcasing strong research and innovation culture.
