Vishnu Institute of Technology celebrated its 18th Annual Day on 14 March 2026 with great enthusiasm. The Chief Guest, Smt. Ch. Nagarani, IAS, District Collector and Magistrate, West Godavari, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of all branches of engineering. She noted that it is dedication, talent, and consistent effort that enable individuals to move forward and succeed. In an era of rapid technological transformation driven by AI, she urged students to continuously upskill themselves and remain prepared for emerging challenges. She also encouraged students to develop social awareness and apply their knowledge and skills towards solving real-world problems.
Principal, Dr. M. Venu, presented the Annual Report, outlining key academic milestones, research initiatives, and notable student achievements. The Vice Principal, Ms. M.Srilakshmi, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
Student achievers in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities were honoured during the prize distribution ceremony, while faculty members who completed ten years of dedicated service were felicitated. Alumni also shared fond memories of their time at the institute and offered words of encouragement to the current students.
The celebrations concluded with vibrant cultural performances by students, showcasing their creativity and talent and bringing the evening to a memorable close.
